I’ve always done the occasional branding photography - both for Geelong and Melbourne businesses - because people who are drawn to storytelling photography tend to find me, and request I come visit their business. This is the first time I’ve thought to add it my official offerings, though - if I’m honest, I was always worried it would dilute or confuse my family work, so chose not to promote brand storytelling and professional branding photography, despite the fact I’ve secretly delighted in it, behind the scenes.

But at the end of the day (and the start of the day, and in the middle) I’m a storyteller; I rejoice in making all kinds of stories, and the challenge of taking the dynamic, real life, interesting humans and spaces I’m presented, locating the heart and soul, and transforming those things into a rich and compelling series of photographs for the brand to enjoy is fantastically rewarding.
